Why We Chose Diesel Hydronic Over LPG

• No LPG tanks or ventilation needed — unlike gas systems that require flame‑safe areas and airflow control. Diesel systems vent externally and eliminate leak risk.

• More efficient and cost-effective operation — Diesel heaters can run at half the cost over a typical week compared to gas heaters. 

• Better cold-weather reliability — Diesel performs consistently in sub-zero environments, while propane can struggle to vaporize. 

• Single fuel simplifies logistics — You only need to manage one fuel source: diesel. No LPG swaps or gas fits needed.

How the DH15 Hydronic System Works

• Built-in hot water and air heating combo — Using a 10‑liter stainless tank and an Eberspacher D5E HS3 diesel furnace, the system heats coolant that travels through a heat exchanger for instant hot water. 

• For air heating, a hydronic fan head or ducted fan (e.g, 1.8 kW) can circulate warm air through the cabin when needed.

• Fast heat-up times — Expect hot water in ~9 minutes from a cold start, full heat by ~14 minutes, and quick reheat for back-to-back use. 

• Compact and rugged design — Pre-assembled with lightweight stainless steel construction, insulated tank, and Watermark-approved tempering valve.
