Speedliner® Protective Coating | ALPINE Assist

Tough Exterior Protection for Your Alpine Camper

Your ALPINE camper is built to handle the toughest conditions — from red-dust roads and coastal salt spray to branches and gravel impacts. To protect it from the elements, each model can be fitted with Speedliner® protective coating, a high-performance spray-on liner designed to last the life of your camper.

Why Speedliner®

Speedliner® is one of the world’s most advanced spray-on polymer coatings, engineered for extreme durability and long-term UV stability. Originally developed for industrial and marine use, it’s ideal for off-road campers and caravans that face harsh Australian environments.

  • Exceptional resistance to abrasion, stone-chipping, and impact.

  • UV-stable and colour-fast — won’t fade or chalk like standard coatings.

  • Permanently bonds to the surface to prevent corrosion or delamination.

  • Compatible with composite, aluminium, and steel substrates.

This combination of toughness and flexibility makes it the perfect exterior defence for off-road and coastal travel.

Caring for Your Speedliner® Coating

Like any protective surface, Speedliner® benefits from simple, regular maintenance to keep it performing and looking its best.

Regular Cleaning

  • Wash the coating with mild detergent and water using a soft cloth or sponge.

  • Avoid harsh solvents, acids, or abrasive cleaners that can dull the finish.

  • For heavier dirt, use a low-pressure rinse (under 1500 psi) while keeping the spray head at least 30 cm from the surface.

Inspection

After extended off-road use, inspect the coating for chips or abrasions — especially around the drawbar, stone-guard areas, and lower corners. Small touch-ups can be performed by an authorised Speedliner® applicator.

Protection After Trips

After coastal travel, always rinse your camper thoroughly to remove salt residue. This prevents surface build-up and maintains the integrity of the coating.
For long-term storage, wash, dry, and park under cover or in a shaded area when possible to reduce prolonged UV exposure.

Repair or Restoration

If you notice any damage, early attention ensures longevity. The coating can be easily recoated or repaired locally by a Speedliner® service partner. Contact Alpine’s Service & Warranty team for advice before attempting any repair.

Owner Tips for Alpine Campers

  • Clean your coated areas after every off-road trip.

  • Avoid storing heavy or sharp objects directly against Speedliner-coated surfaces to prevent scuffing.

  • For best presentation, a light polymer or UV-protectant spray can be used occasionally to refresh the finish.

Keeping You on the Road

At Alpine Campers, protection is about confidence — knowing that your camper can handle the journey ahead. With Speedliner® guarding your exterior, you can explore rugged tracks, coastal stretches, and everything in between with peace of mind.
Our goal is simple: to keep you travelling further, with less worry, and more adventure.
