ALPINE ASSIST – Cruisemaster ATX Airbag Suspension
Confident Handling and Effortless Levelling On Any Terrain
The Cruisemaster ATX Airbag Suspension gives your Alpine Camper the ability to travel smoother, tow safer, and level perfectly no matter where your adventure takes you. Designed and manufactured in Australia, the ATX system is built for serious off-road conditions while delivering exceptional on-road comfort.
Why ATX?
The ATX is a heavy-duty airbag suspension system developed by Cruisemaster, the leader in off-road towing technology.
Its strength lies in a fully adjustable ride height, high-quality air springs, and a trailing arm design that maximises both comfort and control.
Key Benefits:
-
Exceptional off-road articulation and ground clearance.
-
Smooth, stable ride at highway speeds or on corrugated tracks.
-
Adjustable ride height for varying tow vehicle setups.
-
Effortless campsite levelling using the Level 3 Manual Control System.
Levelling & Ride Height Control
The Level 3 Manual Control setup used in Alpine Campers allows for:
-
Manual control of each airbag independently (left/right).
-
Precise levelling at camp – easily balance your camper on uneven ground.
-
Preset “Travel Height” – use this when preparing to tow, ensuring safe and correct suspension geometry.
Tip: Before departure, always return to Travel Ride Height. You’ll find a small reference plate in your wheel arch to guide you to the correct level.
Routine Maintenance
Keeping your ATX system in top condition is simple and ensures longevity.
Monthly:
-
Inspect airbags for dirt buildup, cracks, or wear.
-
Check for air leaks using soapy water on fittings.
-
Ensure lines are not rubbing or kinked.
Every 6 Months:
-
Check torque settings on suspension arms and mounts.
-
Inspect shock absorbers for leaks or damage.
-
Confirm airbag height sensors and valves operate smoothly.
Annually:
-
Have a full system inspection completed by a Cruisemaster service centre or authorised Alpine technician.
Travel Tip
When towing, ensure your Alpine is at travel height before setting off. This maintains correct suspension geometry and brake balance, improving safety and tyre life.
When you arrive at camp, simply use the manual switches to lower one side or raise the other for a perfectly level setup in seconds — no ramps needed.
Keeping You on Track
Your Cruisemaster ATX system is engineered for adventure. With regular care, it will deliver years of smooth towing and reliable off-road performance — wherever your Alpine Camper takes you.
