Your trust matters. This policy explains how ALPINE Campers handles personal information when you browse our website, explore our models, use our online configurator, contact our team or become an ALPINE owner.

01 About this policy

“ALPINE Campers”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ALPINE Campers — confirm legal entity, trading as ALPINE Campers. This policy describes our approach to personal information in connection with our websites, products, sales, marketing, customer support and related services.

We aim to handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us.

02 Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, postal address and location.
  • Enquiries and preferences: models of interest, travel needs, towing vehicle information, appointment requests and messages you send us.
  • Build information: configurations, selected options, saved builds, quotation requests and related communications.
  • Purchase and ownership details: orders, invoices, payment status, vehicle identification and registration information, delivery arrangements, warranty and service records.
  • Website information: device and browser details, IP address, pages visited, referral sources and interactions with our website, subject to applicable law and your browser or consent settings.
  • Marketing preferences: subscriptions, campaign interactions and communication preferences.

We generally collect information directly from you, but may also receive relevant information from authorised representatives, service providers, dealers, referral partners or connected systems where appropriate.

Please do not send sensitive information unless we specifically request it for a legitimate purpose.

03 How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and arrange showroom visits, calls or demonstrations.
  • Help you explore, configure, quote, order and purchase an ALPINE.
  • Manage orders, payments, manufacturing updates, delivery and customer records.
  • Provide warranty assistance, servicing, support and owner communications.
  • Operate, secure, maintain and improve our websites, configurator and customer systems.
  • Understand website performance and improve our products and customer experience.
  • Send product news, availability updates, events and other marketing where permitted.
  • Meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect our legitimate business interests.

04 Sharing information

We may share information where reasonably necessary with service providers and partners supporting our operations, including website and ecommerce platforms, CRM and email providers, analytics and advertising services, IT and hosting providers, payment processors, logistics providers, manufacturing and quality-control partners, authorised service agents, professional advisers and regulators where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information as a standalone product. Some advertising and analytics technologies may involve disclosure of identifiers or browsing information to third parties; see “Cookies and analytics” below.

05 Overseas disclosures

Some providers and business partners may store, access or process information outside Australia. This may include countries where our technology providers, manufacturing partners or their subcontractors operate. Where Australian privacy law requires it, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information appropriately.

Before publishing: ALPINE should confirm and specify the countries to which personal information is likely to be disclosed, where practicable.

06 Cookies and analytics

Our websites may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to support essential site functions, remember preferences, understand traffic, measure campaigns and show relevant advertising. These tools may be provided by platforms such as Shopify, Google and Meta, depending on which integrations are active.

You can manage cookies through your browser and, where provided, our cookie preference controls. Disabling some technologies may affect website functionality. Third-party services may process information under their own privacy policies.

07 Marketing choices

Where permitted, we may contact you about ALPINE models, product updates, available vehicles, events and relevant offers. You can opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We may still send necessary transactional, ownership, warranty or service communications.

08 Security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet-based service can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain information for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described in this policy, including applicable legal, accounting, warranty and operational requirements. When no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it, unless retention is required by law.

09 Access and correction

You may request access to personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and may decline a request where the law permits, explaining our reasons where required.

10 Privacy complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle personal information, please contact us with details of your complaint. We will review it and respond within a reasonable period. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), subject to its jurisdiction and complaint process.
